1. SHISH MAHAL at Shalimar Bagh ( optional )

Shish Mahal is located at , Shalimar Bagh which was built by the Mughal Emperor Shahjahan more than 400 years back . One of the main attractions for visitors to the park outside Shish Mahal are the variety of fruit trees wild flowers.

This was a resting place for Mughals traveling to the northern part of their empire. In 1658, Aurangzeb declared himself as the Emperor at this very garden. The palace was also used by the emperor as his country house

This palace was also used as a summer lodge by British Sir David Ochterlony and Lord Metcalfe Resident Commissioner of Delhi at the time of British Rule in India .

2. TV TOWER

TV Tower is a 235-metre-tall television tower, built in 1988, with an observation deck. Tower is located in the northwest Delhi. The TV tower which is 764 foot tall , is surrounded by one of the biggest commercial/business districts of New Delhi. This fast developing area offers many malls, restaurants, and fast food chains and of course Delhi Haat ..!

3. DILLI HAAT (Art & Craft Bazaar)

Over the years, Dilli Haat has become a venue of crafts, music, dance and cultural festivals, for example India's first comic convention, Comic Con India was organized at Dilli Haat, in February 2011

There are also stalls of crafts from all over India, and from a variety of cultural traditions of India.

Unlike the traditional weekly market, the village Haat, Dilli Haat is permanent. Some shops are permanent but other sellers are rotated, usually for fifteen days. Products offered may include rosewood and sandalwood carvings, embellished camel hide footwear, sophisticated fabric and drapery, gems, beads, brassware, metal crafts, and silk and wool fabrics. Shows promoting handicrafts and handlooms are held at the exhibition hall in the complex. To sell wares, there is an application process and spaces are allocated according to which state the seller is from. In all, Dilli Haat market has more than 100 stalls allotted on a rotational basis to craftsmen a payment of INR 100 per day for a maximum period of 15 Days.

4. The University of Delhi

The University of Delhi (Delhi University or DU Established in 1922) , even before independence of our country, is a public central university of Delhi. It is wholly funded by Government of India. DU at North Campus consist of many premier Colleges and Institutes which are well established names in the field of Art, Science, Commerce & Law .





Our Guests can visit most of the Colleges and travel around the University Campus area from morning till evening and can get the feel of academics and student’s life in Delhi .

5. L.G. HOUSE & St. Xavier's School

Guests can experience the serenity in the Peaceful Cathedral and walk around the vast sports grounds & complex , Library , gardens, and colorful Fishing pond. This all adds to the glory of the Multi story educational Institute’s building which used to be a hotel in British days. Standing high on the building is the old age life size statue of St.Xavier, himself.

6. Maidens Oberoi HOTEL

Maidens Hotel is one of Delhi's oldest hotels, built in the early 1900s, and has retained its colonial charm and architecture. Its spacious rooms with high ceilings are unique when compared to the box-sized rooms of modern hotels. Set amidst eight acres of lush gardens and shady trees, it escapes the noise of the main city, but remains within easy access to some of the most magnificent Mughal monuments, and famous shopping center Chandni Chowk with its quaint bazaars and meandering lanes.

Situated in the North Delhi residential area with big "Turn of the Century" bungalows and the bank of the river Yamuna on the east; close to the University of Delhi Campus, the hotel lies within walking distance (200 meters) of Civil Lines Metro Station. Late 19th century architectural elegance is reflected in the classical rooms and the elegant restaurants.
